Heating convectors are equipment for space heating, which is based on the principle of gas combustion in a designated heat exchange combustion chamber to heat and circulate ambient air without burning oxygen.
Most convector models are based on a finned heater, duct and decorative grill. An exception are floor heating converters, which are a non-separable device, since it is made as a single unit.
The rear panel of the heater is equipped with a coaxial tube, which includes a pair of tubes - due to the internal one, flue gases are removed, and the external tube draws in air streams to maintain combustion. Both processes occur as a result of the occurrence of natural draft, which appears due to the difference in the density of the burnt gases and fresh air flows.
The device is installed by mounting it and then fixing it to the wall.
In order to increase the thermal effect, the most favorable place for the location of the heater is pre-selected. For example, placing a heater under a window neutralizes the flow of cold masses and drafts due to the heat rushing upwards.
The convector type of heaters is equipped with an electronic system for maintaining the set temperatures, thus ensuring a remarkably high level of efficiency.
Gas convection heaters are perfect for their productive operation not only in cottages, apartments and summer cottages, but also in office premises.
They do not require the installation of additional boilers, risers, pumps and the installation of other expensive parts of central heating systems.
