One of the most visited clubs in the city is "Luchesk" on 23 Dekabristov Street. To relax, have fun and warm up, Lutsk people come here with their families, the news site informs.
The head of the club, Natalya Zin, says that in summer more than 100 children visit the club every day. In winter, a little less attendance - up to 80 students a day.
There are classes in the club for everyone - here they play table tennis, hockey, chess, checkers, darts, put puzzles, draw. They also play team games - football, basketball, volleyball, hockey. In addition, the clubhouse offers fitness equipment. And for general physical training, the club uses the gyms of neighboring schools.
The head of the club says that residents of Lutsk of all ages come to the institution. Most of all, of course, are schoolchildren, but students, parents with preschoolers and even grandparents often come.
“In the summer there are more elders than now. They walk with their grandchildren and come to us. Both grandchildren and their grandmothers played here on the playground, ”Natalya Zin said.
The premises of the sports club occupy three rooms. One is for board games, the other has fitness equipment and tennis. Another room is used for cultural events - educational hours on various topics are held here. Natalia Zin says that she is trying to teach not only the culture of sports, but also universal values.
Often such educational events take place in the family circle, because parents are also invited to them. After each thematic meeting, children develop visual arts skills, and the head of the club keeps all the drawings as a keepsake.
The sports club also has a second floor. Natalia Zin says that if a good renovation could be done here, several more sections could be opened so that children could play other sports.
However, soon they want to move the sports club to Rivne Street, 5, and open a kindergarten in its place.
“The room is smaller, although it is light. It is a pity that the children here will no longer have where to come in their free time, ”said the head of the club.
Members of the sports club actively participate in competitions and various events, win victories and prizes.
In winter, they also play ice hockey on open rinks, but sledding is, of course, an integral part of the entertainment.
Natalia Zin says that despite the large number of children, there is enough space and entertainment for everyone. Therefore, it invites residents of Lutsk of all ages to participate in a healthy lifestyle and sports entertainment.
