Regenerative cartridge R P-100 is used to remove carbon dioxide from the air in shelters. The lime chemical absorbent consists of granules, sodium oxide hydrate - 2%, calcium oxide hydrate 80%, water 18%. Cartridge weight 92 kg, height 420 mm, diameter 550 mm.
As a result of the chemical reaction of carbon dioxide and caustic alkalis, calcium and sodium carbonates are obtained, as a result of which carbon dioxide is absorbed from the air. One cartridge contains about fifty kilograms of chemical lime absorbent.
Cartridge R P-100 should be used when carbon dioxide reaches more than two percent. Replacement of the cartridge is carried out when the level of carbon dioxide exceeds the value of two and a half percent. Equipment HPI regenerative cartridges is a metal casing with a perforated cylinder located inside and a pipe separated by HPI. The cartridge has two openings at the end closed with plugs and equipped with gaskets, one opening for air flow located on the side, the air capacity of one cartridge is one hundred cubic meters per hour. To supply air to the cartridge, shut-off and ventilation equipment is used. The chuck can work with or without forced air supply.
One to three cartridges are installed in the installation. The installation is used at positive temperatures from 18 degrees to 35 and humidity 28-95 percent. Since the cartridge contains chemicals, precautions must be taken when installing the equipment. On contact with the skin of the lime scavenger, as well as in contact with the eyes, on the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract, it causes irritation. If contact with chemicals occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
It is not allowed to shut down a running installation, since turning off the device will lead to an increase in the concentration of carbon dioxide, with a carbon dioxide indicator of two percent, the installation is restarted.
