Abinsk Electrometallurgical Plant has placed a new order with Danieli for the supply of two energy efficient ESS cantilever racks to be installed at the Abinsk production site in Krasnodar Krai, Russia.
Danieli ESS stands will replace cageless stands 15 and 16 in a rebar mill supplied by another manufacturer.
The new cantilever stands will reduce product changeover times for 8-25mm rebars, increase rolling tolerances and maximize mill utilization.
Abinsk Electrometallurgical Plant is already operating Danieli cantilever stands at Rolling Mill # 2 (the second Danieli mill delivered by Danieli to a Russian steelmaker) and this will lead to optimization of spare parts.
Commissioning is scheduled for mid-2022. Abinsk plant is constantly working with Danieli on new products and production strategies.
