Do-it-yourself magic: components of a miracle
We have probably already seen that decorative candles are great. Then let's get to practice - let's make our own candle! To make it we need:
1. Candle stubs or paraffin wax (best of all light, if you want to later paint it in the desired color);
2. Coffee beans;
3. Essential oil with a pleasant smell;
4. Silicone molds (there is definitely a place for your imagination to roam);
5. Wax pencils;
6. Jar and saucepan for a water bath.
Everything in order
The first stage of our work with you will be to remove the remaining wicks from the candle stumps.
Next, you should place pencils of the desired color and pieces of paraffin in the jar. Brown is best for coffee candles, green for conifers, and red or pink for heart-shaped candles.
Then the jar is placed in a saucepan with water (you should first put a cloth under the first one so that it does not burst during the heating process) and place this impromptu water bath on the fire.
While the contents of the jar are melting, you should prepare the molds for pouring our candles: for coffee candles, the bottom of a silicone baking dish is decorated with coffee beans, for candles with a sea scent, you can take small shells, and for hearts - sparkles. Skewers with tied pieces of the wick are installed on the form. We place it in the center so that the future candle looks presentable.
After the wax pencil and paraffin have melted in water, add 2-3 drops of essential oil to the resulting mass.
After that, it remains only to pour molten paraffin into the desired form and leave it alone until it solidifies completely.
Finished candles will look more beautiful if you lightly sprinkle them with sparkles.
