Turkish pipe manufacturer Erciyas Çelik Boru Sanayi A.
Ş. announced financial results for the first quarter of 2026.
Accordingly, Erciyas recorded a net profit of TRY 117.05 million ($2.68 million) in the quarter, compared to a net loss of TRY 63.42 million in the same period in 2025. During the same period, the company's sales revenue decreased by 27.2 percent year-on-year to 990.77 million Turkish lira ($22.73 million), while operating profit stood at 48.29 million Turkish lira ($1.1 million), compared with operating profit of 219.74 million Turkish lira in the first quarter of the previous year.
In the said period 73 percent of the company's total pipe sales came from export sales, while by industry, 83 percent of revenue came from the steel pipes segment, 11 percent from the energy segment and 16 percent from the railcar segment. In the first quarter of last year, exports accounted for 64 percent of Erciyas' total sales.
Looking at projects during the period, the company signed an agreement worth $8 million to produce steel pile pipes for use in the Aksaz Naval Base Command expansion project. A total of 12,600 meters of coated steel pile pipes, consisting of 210 pipes of 60 meters each, are planned to be shipped in the third quarter of 2026.
The annual production capacity of spiral welded steel pipe is approximately 600,000 tons.
