China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that the average price of finished steel in China decreased slightly from May 18 to 24 this year.
During this period, the average prices of hot-rolled steel strip, rebar and ordinary steel sheet decreased by 0.8 percent, 0.7 percent and 0.7 percent per week, respectively.
During the same period, the average prices of Thermal coal and smokeless lump coal rose 0.3 percent and 0.2 percent, respectively, while the average coking coal price fell 0.4 percent for the full week.
