According to statistics published by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, between January and March this year, exports of major steel and ferroalloys from France amounted to 2.37 billion euros, down 1.9 percent year on year.
During the period, France exported steel pipes and tubes worth 286.78 million euros, a decrease of 7.3 percent, 120.8 million euros Cold-rolled steel bars - increased in price by 7.7 percent, cold-rolled steel strips by 166.93 million euros - by 9.5 percent, cold-drawn wire by 80.52 million euros - an increase of 4.4 percent, metal structures and parts by 220.34 million euros - a decrease of 0.9 percent, all compared to the same period in 2025.
