According to data released by the General Administration of Customs of Vietnam, Vietnam's steel imports totaled 1.43 million tons in June this year, up 10.6 percent from May, while scrap imports totaled 604,432 tons, an increase of 33.8 percent over the same month.
Vietnam's steel imports increased 2.8 percent year on year this year to 7.77 million tons, and scrap imports amounted to 3.19 million tons during this period, an increase of five percent year on year.
