Investments of 130.31 billion yuan were made in major projects in Shanghai in the first half of 2026.

This year through the end of June, total investment in major projects in Shanghai amounted to 130.31 billion yuan ($19.1 billion), accounting for 51.1 percent of the annual plan. 19 projects (including three preparatory ones) have begun construction.

All new facilities planned for construction this year have already begun construction work.
