The Indian company Shyam Metallics and Energy Limited (SMEL) achieved a consolidated net profit of INR 3,450 million (US$35.77 million) in the first quarter (April-June) of fiscal year 2026-27, up 18 percent from last year, according to a company statement on Tuesday, 21 July.
The company reported total revenue in Indian rupees. 54.55 billion (565.63 million dollars), which is 23.3 percent more than last year.
SMEL's product range includes iron ore pellets, rebar, structural steel, ferroalloys, and aluminum foil.
