Rebar exports from the United States increased by 20.2 percent in May 2026 compared with April

According to export data from the U.

S. Department of Commerce, rebar exports to the United States totaled 5,264 tons in May this year, up 20.2 percent month-on-month and down 62.2 percent year-on-year. In value terms, rebar exports totaled $5.02 million in May, compared with $4.26 million in the previous month and $12.10 million in the same month in 2025.

The United States shipped the most rebar to Canada in May, with 3,314 tons, compared with 2,838 tons in April and 8,362 tons in May 2025. There were no other important areas. (1,000 tons or more) for rebar exports to the USA in May.
