Indian state-owned manganese mining company MOIL limited posted a net profit of INR 876.20 million ($9.15 million) in the first quarter (April-June) of fiscal year 2026-27, up 70 percent from the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, the company reported on Thursday, July 30.
The company reported total revenue of INR 3.70 billion Rs. ($38.74 million) in the first quarter, up 6.55 percent.
It said operating efficiencies and a 10 percent improvement in manganese ore sales supported profitability despite a modest 1 percent rise in production.
