India's JSW Steel Limited reported steel production of 2.402 million tons in July 2026, up three percent from last year, according to a company statement released on Tuesday, August 11.
The volume of steel production in India in July 2026 was 2.339 million tons, which is four percent more than last year. JSW Steel's production in Ohio, USA, decreased by 13% to 63,000 tons in July 2026.
The company reported that the average capacity utilization of its factories in India in July 2026 was 87 percent.
The capacity of the BF3 steel mill in Vijayanagar has been increasing since its restart on June 23 and is currently at 80 percent.
