India's Godavari Power and Ispat Limited (GPIL) generated a consolidated net profit of INR 2,217.40 million ($23.26 million) in the first quarter (April-June) of fiscal year 2026/27, up 2.7% from last year, according to a company statement on Tuesday, August 11.
The company reported total sales revenue of INR 17,504.70 million (US$183.66 million) for the quarter, up 32.29% from last year.
GPIL is mainly engaged in the production of pellets, sponge iron, billets, wire rods and ferroalloys, as well as the production of electricity in-house.
