Interpipe, a Ukrainian manufacturer of steel pipes and railway products, announced that it continues to supply its products to consumers on international markets, despite the effective blockade of Ukrainian seaports following Russian missile and drone attacks.
According to the company, the attacks at the end of July disrupted the work of Ukrainian seaports in the Odessa and Mykolaiv regions, which effectively deprived Interpipe of the opportunity to use these facilities for export.

Most Interpipe customers are located in Europe, and the company primarily uses road transportation to ensure timely delivery of these customers.
Alexey Yanovsky, Interpipe's deputy chief operating officer for Procurement and Logistics, said logistics costs had been affected by fuel shortages and higher fuel prices, although these issues were easier to deal with than port closures.

Meanwhile, disruptions in the operation of seaports in the Odessa region affected Interpipe's export routes to North America and the Middle East. The company said it had redirected supplies destined for customers in these regions through a European port, building on its experience adapting logistics routes during previous disruptions.
"As an exporting company, Interpipe has an extensive sales map. Our main clients are located outside of Ukraine, so the task of the logistics service is to find a solution for the delivery of goods to the client. So far, we are coping with this," Yanovsky said.
