Ş. (IDÇ) announced its financial and operating results for the first half of this year.

During the period, the company recorded a net loss of 529.36 million Turkish liras ($11.04 million), down from a net loss of 949.28 million Turkish liras in the first half of 2025, while sales revenue decreased by 5.6% Year-on-year, it reached 33.95 billion Turkish liras ($708,214). In addition, IDÇ reported an operating loss of 2.16 billion Turkish liras ($45.06 million) in the first six months of this year, compared with an operating profit of 267.42 million Turkish liras in the same period last year. 2025.

In January-June, the company's steel billet production volume decreased by one percent year-on-year to 1.09 million tons, while rebar production totaled 519,037 tons, an increase of four percent. Meanwhile, IBM's partners under the contract produced 192,109 tons of rebar over the period, a decrease of four percent year-on-year. The company's steel profile production decreased by four percent year-on-year to 146,229 tons. The total volume of finished steel production during this period increased by one percent year-on-year and amounted to 857,375 tons.

In the first half of the year, sales of the company's finished steel products increased by two percent year-on-year to 863,832 tons, while billet sales increased by 18 percent to 276,599 tons. Export sales and production volume increased by 52% year-on-year to 435,872 tons, compared with 287,358 tons in the corresponding period of 2025. In the first six months of 2026, the company's export revenue totaled $254.28 million, an increase of 31 percent year-on-year.

IDÇ stated that the new steelmaking plant commissioned in previous years has doubled its steel production capacity, providing the company with greater potential for billet sales in the coming years. In addition, investments aimed at doubling the solar energy production capacity in the group's energy business have been completed. The company expects to achieve higher financial results in 2026 and in the following years, based on its forecasts.
