According to preliminary data from the US Department of Commerce, imports of cold-rolled coils to the United States in June this year amounted to 87,174 thousand tons, which is 15.0% more than in the previous month and 2.4% less year-on-year. In value terms, CRC imports totaled $81.3 million in June this year, compared with $65.6 million in May and $87.4 million in June 2025.
In June, the United States imported the most CRC from Canada - 14,581,000 tons, compared with 13,197,000 tons in May and 23,884 tons in June 2025. The other largest sources of CRC imports in June are Vietnam (14,172 tons), Australia (13,876 tons), Taiwan (8,552 tons) and Turkey (7,874 tons).
