According to statistics released by Taiwan's Ministry of Economy, the country's export orders for base metals and products made from them totaled $2.35 billion in July this year, an increase of 7.3 percent month-on-month and 24.3 percent year-on-year. In June, Taiwan's export orders for base metals and products made from them totaled $2.19 billion.
In the period from January to July, the country's export orders for base metals and basic types of metal products increased by 8.4% year-on-year to $14.65 billion.
