According to preliminary census data conducted by the U.S. Department of Commerce, oil country pipe products (OCTG) imports to the United States in June this year totaled 103,992 tons, up 1.1 percent from May and 22.0 percent less than last year. In value terms, OCTG imports in June amounted to 119.3 million US dollars, compared with 123.0 million US dollars in May and 164.0 million US dollars in the same month in 2025.
In June, the United States imported the most OCTG from South Korea - 52,525 tons, compared with the same period last year. up to 35,833 tons in May and 32,282 tons in June 2025. The other largest sources of OCTG imports in June were Vietnam (14,085 thousand tons), Canada (9,157 thousand tons), Austria (6,921 thousand tons) and India (5,490 thousand tons).
