According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, exports of heavy construction profiles (including U, I, H, L and T-section beams) from the United States in June this year amounted to 18,847 tons, which is 13.1% less than in May and 16.7% more than in June 2025. In value terms, beam exports in June totaled $30.7 million, compared to $35.8 million in the previous month and $20.9 million in the same month in 2025.
The United States shipped the most beams to Canada in June. In June, 12,857 tons were shipped, compared with 12,435 tons in May and 10,245 tons in June 2025. Another popular destination was Mexico with 4,849 tons. In June, there were no other significant destinations (1,000 tons or more) for the export of beams from the United States.
