According to preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in July of this year, Turkey's iron ore imports amounted to 1,008,696 metric tons, which is 10.5% less than in June and 7.7% more year-on-year. Meanwhile, revenue from these imports totaled $110.38 million, down 13.5% from the previous month and up 4.6% year-on-year.
In the period from January to July, Turkey's iron ore imports totaled 7.39 million tons, an increase of 28.6%, while the value of these imports increased by 28.7% to $787.17 million year-on-year.
