The United States announced the preliminary imposition of duties on rebar from Turkey

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has published the preliminary results of the administrative review of the decree on the imposition of anti-dumping duties on rebar from Turkey for the period from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.

The document has previously established that during the period under review, some Turkish exporters sold the relevant product at prices below its usual cost. The estimated weighted average dumping margin was 13.11% for Colakoglu Metalurji A.

S., Colakoglu Dis Ticaret A.

S. and Ekinciler Demir ve Celik Sanayi A.

The DOC also canceled the review of three companies — Habas Sinai ve Tibbi Gazlar Istihsal Endustrisi A.

S., Icdas Celik Enerji Tersane ve Ulasim A.

S. and Kaptan Demir Celik, for whom there was no data available for verification on the relevant product during the review period.
