Depending on the purpose, they are made of unmeasured length - from 1.5 to 9 meters; measured length - from 5 to 9 meters; lengths with any multiplicity not exceeding the lower limit, which is set for measuring pipes. If they have a diameter of more than 426 millimeters, then they are made only of unmeasured length.
More often, shaped pipes serve as a reinforcing element in the creation of frame and support structures in mechanical engineering and construction. Electric-welded square pipes can be used in the foundation, as a bearing element, in the construction of metal structures of various configurations, fences, gates, etc. They can serve as a replacement for corners and channels. With their help, pre-fabricated structures are built.
