To regulate the pressure in the gas transmission system, special adjusting mechanisms (fittings) are used - a gas pressure regulator or gas reducers. This device independently provides constant pressure in the gas pipeline.
If necessary, using this device, you can change the pressure parameters from high (Pvx = 12 ÷ 75 kgf /cm2) to a lower one (Pout = 3 ÷ 12 kgf /cm2). The pressure change is achieved by means of the throttle group of the regulator, which regulates the gas flow.
The device and the principle of the regulator
Gas regulator consists of an actuator mechanism and a body that compares signals. The main part of the actuator is a sensing element that compares the inlet and outlet pressures and sends signals to the actuator, which regulates the pressure within the specified parameters.
Astatic type of regulator . The sensitive element of such an element is the membrane, which is influenced by the load. Such regulators are used in gas transmission systems with low pressure of the working medium (gas).
Static type of controller . In this regulator, the sensor is pressured by a spring that provides feedback during the adjustment. Static pressure regulators are highly irregular in operation.
Jiggly type of regulator . Have elastic feedback. They are characterized by high productivity and a high degree of safety. They are used at gas distribution stations.

This type of regulator is designed to regulate the pressure of gas that has a vapor phase during transportation, such gases include liquefied gases (propane, butane, etc.) There are several main groups of such regulators:
