The principle of operation of a power transformer is that high voltage electricity is transmitted to special inputs, and bypassing electromagnetic induction, is directed to low voltage inputs. The power unit looks like a sealed metal tank. Transformer oil is poured into it, which constantly circulates, and the current gradually passes from the high voltage windings to the low voltage windings. Air cooled transformers are also available.
Transformers produce a significant amount of heat energy, which even helps heat production facilities.
