Carriage trailers are indispensable for anglers who prefer to use not PVC inflatable boats, but solid metal or plastic floating craft. You just need to attach boat trailer to the car, put a ship on it and you can hit the road.
Such a carriage consists of:
- bearing frame;
- lodgments attached to it from above - substrates on which the boat is placed;
- one or two pairs of main wheels;
- a small support wheel located at the front of the trailer;
- winches and keel rollers designed to raise the boat and launch it into the water.
The most popular are uniaxial models. To transport a boat designed to go to a lake, river or reservoir over any distance, such a boat trailer is quite suitable. Large biaxial carriages are mainly used for the transport of large-sized heavy vessels, primarily used in sea fishing.
