Development, design and production of packaging machines is a difficult task for any machine-building enterprise that requires the knowledge of specialists in many areas. Categories of automatic packaging machines
If the goods are packaged poorly, this will create problems already at the stage of storage and transportation. The correct choice of equipment depends on the type of product being manufactured, the requirements for process automation, the area of production facilities.
Depending on the purpose, the production of packaging machines, regardless of the manufacturer, is subdivided into the following types:
- strapping machine - covering the cargo with plastic strap on pallets, is the most popular and versatile type of equipment as it provides for the installation of the most various auxiliary devices (conveyor rotary table, additional strapping heads, devices for pre-pressing the goods, etc.);
- pallet packers (palletizer) - designed for packing pallets in a plastic stretch film on a turntable;
- shrinkable equipment - wrapping products on a pallet in a shrink film around the perimeter of the pallet;
- stretch hood - packaging of equipment with stretch hood film, stretched by the machine mechanically without the use of heating (as opposed to shrink wrapping).
The production of packaging machines requires serious preparation, where the initial data are the requirements for the level of automation of the packaging process, the required speed of operations and the nature of the product itself.
