To pump out water from deep wells and reservoirs, well pumps are used, which are also sometimes called deep pumps, due to their scope of application. Of course, they are also great for wells, which are increasingly being drilled by summer residents and rural residents.
Before buying a pump for wells and other purposes, you need to carefully study the technical characteristics and consult with the dealer company in order to choose the optimal pumping equipment from well-known European manufacturers and the CIS.
Well pumps have many positive qualities. For example, they can work at great depths, and they do it quietly and do not affect the chemical composition of the water. The installation of such a pump is not difficult. It is performed directly while drilling a well, i.e. the pump is lowered with the pipe.
Downhole pumps can be divided into several main types: centrifugal, vortex, screw. They all have their own characteristics, which determine their appropriateness for a particular job. For example, a centrifugal borehole pump has a very high performance. It can operate at great depths, supplying water with a pressure of 120 m. At the same time, it has thermal protection, which allows the pump to be operated for a long time without interruption.
Of course, its cost will be higher than that of other models. Vortex pumps are less efficient, but great for wells with little water. The immersion depth from the water mirror is 30 meters. Screw pumps are a more economical option, they are more intended for domestic use, so the immersion depth is only 15 m and the water pressure is less - up to 100 m.
