The budget sedan Lada Granta has become a real hit. Externally, Lada Granta looks more modern than Kalina and Priora. It is immediately clear that automakers have been placing a lot of emphasis on design. I especially like the front view - it looks like a foreign car. But the back seems to be empty, I would add a chrome strip to the trunk lid. The opening of the wheel arches is also noticeably larger than the wheels themselves. Although my kit had 14-inch wheels instead of the standard 13-inch wheels, there is still empty space. But overall, the car is beautiful and I like it.
The interior design is quite modern and at the same time laconic, with a convenient arrangement of control buttons. On the first day, I could not figure out the clock, since the setting buttons are located on the wiper switch knob.
On the "nine" there was no such convenience as the power steering, on the "Grant" it is. People who are accustomed to driving expensive foreign cars will not be surprised by this option, but for me it is a big plus. The electric booster is especially convenient on long trips.
"Lada Granta" in comparison with the classics - "Samara" and the tenth family went much further in terms of the quality of sound insulation. The panel does not rattle, the sound from the wheels almost does not reach the passenger compartment. Strongly audible only the tapping of stones on the body on a bad road.
I really liked the large mirrors, as well as the front and rear windows - everything is visible, and now the control over the road is even more.
Ventilation nozzles are round, everyone assures that they are taken from Renault Logan. Here you can argue: besides Logan, there are such nozzles on Mazda 6, Ford Mondeo, Alfa Romeo and about 40 other models of foreign cars. By the way, they are very convenient - you set them up as you need them, and you rejoice. The stove works perfectly, does not allow you to freeze in frost, and on the track, in the heat, a light breeze blows exactly where you need it.
The equipment of my car is "the norm", it includes airbags for the driver, but the manufacturer decided to save money on the front passenger and not protect him. There are also no handrails above the doors.
AvtoVAZ wants to make Lada Granta "popular", and it is no coincidence that the trunk is so big. Once in the trunk with a volume of 480 liters, 4 bags of potatoes fit without any problems.
