On Thursday, at a briefing, the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Industrial and Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship, Natalia Korolevskaya, noted that "the government canceled the benefits at the most inopportune moment - against the backdrop of the fall of production, negative trends in foreign markets and the lack of demand in the internal. At the same time, the abolition of benefits was not compensated for the provision of incentives for the modernization of enterprises."
In addition, Natalia Korolevskaya stated that “the absence of the government’s reaction to the decline in industrial production, which have been watching this negative trend for three months, will already lead to mass closing of enterprises and a new wave of economic crisis”.
According to a briefing presented in the first quarter, the industry demonstrated growth, and in the second quarter there is a decline: 1.8% - in April, 0.6% in May and 0.5% in June.
