Domestic producer prices in Turkey’s basic metal industry rose 1.85% in October 2026 from September and 28.96% year on year, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat).
The average increase over the past 12 months was 25.67%. In the manufacture of metal products, except machinery and equipment, prices rose 1.31% month on month and 23.82% year on year, with the 12-month average increase at 24.39%.
Across Turkish industry, the domestic producer price index climbed 1.65% in October from the previous month and 27.41% from a year earlier. The average increase over the latest 12 months was 27.83%.
