According to Vasily Kharahulah, General Director of the Association of Metallurgical Enterprises of Ukraine, Metallurgprom at a balance meeting of representatives of the mining and metallurgical complex in Dnepropetrovsk, in August, it is planned to reduce the volume of smelting of steel by 1.4% (to 2.720 million tons) and the production of finished rental by 4.9% (up to 2.530% (up to 2.530 million tons).
To ensure the production of steel and rental for August, 785 thousand tons of agglorudes, 1.01 million tons of concentrate, 290 thousand tons of agglomerate, 785 thousand tons of pellets, 1.22 million tons of metallurgical coke and 440 thousand tons of scrap metal are required.
In order to fulfill these requirements, Ukrainian companies must import 70 thousand tons of iron ore, 60 thousand tons of iron ore concentrate and 650 thousand tons of coking coal.
