The Antimonopoly Committee allowed Metinvest B.V. (Netherlands) to concentrate more than 50% of the Mariupol Metallurgical Plant named after Ilyich and Ilyich-Stal. This is stated in the message of the Metinvest group.
“Metinvest B.V. (The Netherlands) received permission from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine to buy an additional issue of shares of PJSC Ilyich-Stal and PJSC Mariupol Metallurgical Plant named after Ilyich ”, which will provide Metinvest with more than 50% of the vote in the highest management bodies of these companies,” the report says.
The resolution of the AMCU is the next stage in the implementation of the transaction to unite Metivest and MMK named after Ilyich.
