The main goal of the Cabinet of Ministers with the enterprises of the Mining and Metallurgical Complex (GMC) is to support the domestic market and, thus, help the whole economy of Ukraine get out of the crisis, the First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Klyuyev told reporters, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
As reported, last Friday the government and heads of the GMC enterprises agreed to preserve in the second quarter of the current year the prices for metal products and raw materials for metallurgical production, including battery Sulfuric acid , which developed on April 1, 2010.
The corresponding memorandum was signed on April 1, it was signed by the first deputy prime minister Andrei Klyuyev from the government, from the GMK-the owners of enterprises and holdings: Metinvest Holding LLC, CJSC Smart-Holding, Evraz resource LLC, Dnepropetrovsk Metallurgical Plant Named after Petrovsky, LLC Interpipe Management, LLC, LLC, LLC. OJSC “Mariupolsky Ilych named after Ilyich”, OJSC “Zaporizhstal”, Arselor Mittal Krivoy Rog OJSC, Donetskstal CJSC, Poltava GZK OJSC, UNPA UKRKOKS and UKRFA Association.
As Klyuyev noted, the authorities and enterprises of one of the key sectors agreed to meet each other, since price stability “will make it possible to develop engineering and construction industry, and they, in turn, will stimulate other sectors of the economy”.
