According to the Cabinet of Ministers, Ukraine over seven months of 2010 compared with the same period in 2009 increased cast iron exports by 11.2%, to 866.3 thousand tons by 345.19 million dollars.
Nevertheless, in July this year, compared with June, the export of Ukrainian cast iron decreased by 51.1%, reaching 94.95 thousand tons. Export revenue decreased by 58.3%, to 41.27 million dollars.
The main buyer of Ukrainian cast iron in July became the United States, whose share in the total export of cast iron from Ukraine amounted to 44.52 thousand tons, or 46.9%.
In the annual calculus, foreign supplies of cast iron from Ukraine were reduced by 26.3%.
