On September 2, 2010, a meeting of shareholders of the Ilyich plant was held. The meeting decided to increase the authorized fund by 2.255 billion hryvnias. The authorized fund of the enterprise is 12371.26 million shares worth 0.25 hryvnias apiece.
It is known that last year the plant did not finish very well. Its losses amounted to 255.94 million hryvnias. The income of the plant compared to 2008 decreased by approximately 39%
On July 1, the shareholders of Ilyich-Staal and the Ilyich plant conducted the additional promises of shares, as the results of which the Metinvest group should gain control over 75% of the Ilyich MMK shares.
The plant expects that the transaction will end until the end of September 2010.
