MMK named after Ilyich declares the growth of an unstable VAT up to 1.5 billion UAH

Chairman of the Board -General Director of one of the largest metallurgical enterprises in Ukraine - Mariupol Metallurgical Plant MMK named after Ilyich - Vladimir Boyko notes the continuing increase in the debt of VAT unfinished by the enterprise, which threatens his stable work.

"To date, from the turnover of the plant due to non-return of VAT, UAH 1.5 billion is washed. We raised this issue to the government together with the Governor of the Donetsk region Anatoly Gemini. After Easter holidays, there is an intention to send a telegram to the prime minister and president of Ukraine and once again inform about the most difficult situation at the plant and the need for a monthly time VAT return, ”he said at an operational meeting of managers and chief specialists of the plant. It is quoted by the company's press center.

At the same time, V. Boyko noted that the automatic tax reimbursement, as Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Tigipko said, was possible no earlier than two months later. “The next two months, until the automatic VAT refund is resumed, will be very difficult for the plant. The other day we are promised to transfer about 100 million UAH,” the general director stated.
