During 2010-2011, Donetskstal CJSC plans to modernize production. Stan No. 1 of the camp 2300 will be replaced by a newer one by May 2011. This replacement will reduce the specific consumption of conditional fuel by heating the metal 2 times. Also, the level of formation of furnace scale will decrease by one and a half times, this will reduce the atmospheric pollution and improve the environmental situation.
The company will repair the burning stove No. 2 of the Kopovy workshop No. 1 by October 3. A major overhaul of the installation of continuous steel casting in the Martenovsky workshop in October-November will also be carried out.
Donetskstal plans to repair the Marten furnace No. 7 by the end of September. The front and rear walls of the furnace, regenerators will be repaired.
