Inventories of key finished steel products in China fell 1.9 percent at the end of March 2026.

On March 31 this year, the total domestic inventory of five major finished steel products in 21 major cities in China was 11.42 million tons, down 1.9 percent from March 20, as announced by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).

Specifically, as of March 31, domestic inventory of HRC, CRC, medium steel sheet, wire rod and rebar decreased by 2.9 percent, 1.4 percent, 1.7 percent, 4.2 percent and 1.1 percent, respectively, compared to March 20.
