India's coking coal imports through all the country's major ports in the fiscal year 2025-26 (April-March) have been provisionally estimated at 66.252 million tonnes, up 11.8% from February 2026, data received from the Indian Ports Association (IPA) showed on Tuesday, April 7.
Domestic shipments in March, according to SteelOrbis calculations 2026 totaled 5.974 million tonnes, up from 6.598 million tonnes in February 2026.
IPA data showed that total iron ore traffic, including pellets, stood at approximately 50.568 million tonnes in FY 2025-26, up marginally by 1.33% year-on-year calculus.
