China will increase steel exports

The export of steel metal products from the Middle Kingdom in 2010 will be about 40 million tons, which is 60% more than in 2009. In January-August of this year, the exports of steel from China grew 2.3 times (30.9 million tons).

The volume of steel smelting in 2010 will reach 620-630 million tons, which is 9% higher than last year. In August, the volume of steel smelting in China became lower than in July by 1.1%. The production of cast iron to 48.84 million tons (0.9% less compared to July) was also reduced. Once, the production of metal products increased by 11.5% compared to last year. The production of metal products amounted to 69.68 million tons.
