Freight traffic on the Chinese Daqin Railway increased by 3.79 percent in January-April 2026

The volume of freight traffic on the Daqing Railway in China in January-April this year amounted to 128.02 million tons, which is 3.79 percent more than last year.

In April alone, freight traffic on the Daqing Railway totaled 31.16 million tons, up 1.76 percent from last year, 4.68 percentage points slower than the growth recorded in March, with some maintenance work. During April 1-27, the volume of freight traffic in this month had a negative impact.

In particular, the average daily volume of freight traffic on the Daqing Railway in April amounted to 1.0387 million tons.
