French pipe manufacturer Vallourec has announced financial results for the first quarter of 2026. The company's revenue in the specified period decreased by seven percent year-on-year to $975 million, while EBITDA remained almost stable year-on-year at $220 million. The company's EBITDA margin increased from 20.7 percent in the same period last year to 22.6 percent.
In the quarter, Vallourec pipe sales decreased by 13 percent year-on-year to 272,000 tons, while iron ore sales decreased by 15 percent year-on-year to 1.3 million tons. The company's operating profit increased from $154 million in the same period last year to $156 million, while the Group's net profit decreased from $89 million to $87 million.
Vallourec pipe segment revenue in the first quarter decreased by seven percent year-on-year to $897 million. A 13% decrease in sales in the segment was partially offset by an 8% increase in the average selling price, which was facilitated by an improvement in the price-to-product ratio in all regions.
