Net profit of Indian mining company NMDC Limited increased by 35% in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025-26%

Indian state-owned iron ore mining company NMDC Limited achieved a consolidated net profit of INR 20.2 billion ($212.12 million) in the fourth quarter (January-March) of fiscal year 2025-26, an increase of 35 percent compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, according to the company's report on Monday, June 1

The company reported total revenue of 111.73 billion Indian ores ($1.17 billion), an increase of 61 percent year-on-year.

In fiscal year 2025-26, NMDC Limited's total consolidated net profit amounted to 74.21 billion Indian ores ($799.30 million), an increase of 11 percent year-on-year.

The company said that during 2025-26, it achieved a 21 percent increase in iron ore production to 53.16 million tons, its highest annual rate, while sales were recorded at 50.24 million tons, an increase of 13 percent year-on-year.
