Metinvest International S.A. and OJSC "HTZ" are included in the list of trusted suppliers of the GAZ de France gas concern

The Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Holding Metinvest has entered the C4Gas S.A., the main purchaser of the largest gas transmission and oil and gas companies in the company, the company’s press service. In particular, the Metinvest International and Khartsyz Pipe Plant (KhTZ) are included in the list of trusted suppliers of the GAZ De France gas concern.

Metinvest received a certificate that gives the right to participate in all tenders of GAZ de France for the supply of large diameter pipes. In addition, the certificate is a prerequisite for cooperation with such large gas transport companies as SPP A.S. Eustream S.A. (Slovakia) and Steweag-stg GmbH (Austria). These companies are purchasing gas pipes only if the C4Gas S.A. qualification applicant has Currently, Metinvest is the only company in the CIS, which has such a qualification.

The preparation procedure for obtaining a certificate was started in April 2008 and consisted of three stages: adaptation and preparation of documentation; audit of enterprises; The supply of a trial batch of products. The trial batch of pipes of the Khartsyz Pipe Plant was shipped to the GAZ de France gas concern in February 2010. This transaction was the first in history by the supply of Ukrainian pipes of large diameter as well as Metal products to order for Gaz de France.
