In August of this year, Russia increased the import of the main types of stainless steel, compared with July, by 9.8% - until 19.912 thousand tons.
It is known that the volume of imports to such types of products as: varietal rental (increase in imports by 24.7%), wire (increase in imports by 10.8%), flat rental (increase in imports by 7.4%), electric welding pipes (increase in imports by 23.1%) and seamless pipes (increasing imports by 14.1%).
It is also worth noting that the Russian Federation imported 121.439 thousand tons of stainless steel products in January-August 2010. The volume of imports increased this year by 125.9% compared to APPG.
