The United States International Trade Commission (ITC) has opened anti-dumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations into welded stainless steel lines and pressure pipes from India, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
The investigations follow petitions filed on July 15, 2026 by Bristol Pipe and Tube, Inc., Felker Brothers Corporation and Primus Pipe and Tube, Inc. Petitioners allege that imports of the subject items are sold at less than normal prices into the United States and, in the case of India and Turkey, they receive countervailing subsidies.
The petitions cover AD and CVD investigations into imports from India and Turkey, as well as an AD-only investigation into imports from the United Arab Emirates.
ITC is conducting preliminary phase investigations in accordance with the investigation numbers 701-TA-800-801 and 731-TA-1796-1798 (preliminary) to determine whether there are reasonable grounds to believe that the U.S. industry has suffered material injury or is at risk of material injury due to the imports.
The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) is expected to begin its own investigation on or about August 4, 2026.
