Worldsteel data shows that India was the largest DRI producer among countries surveyed in June this year, with DRI production at 4.98 million metric tons in a given month. India is followed by Iran, Russia and Mexico with production of 2.5 million tons, 630,000 tons and 565,000 tons respectively.
