Over the 9 months of the current 2010, the volume of imports to Ukraine by 96.1%increased compared to the APG, to 1.037 million tons.
It is also worth noting that compared with September 2009, in September 2010, the supply of metal rolling to the country increased by approximately 116%.
In January-September 2010, the volume of import workpiece imports was increased from 31.5% to 34.3%, the volume of imports of the hot-rolled sheet increased by 3.6% (from 16.1% to 19.7%). However, it is known that the volumes of imports of a cold -rolled sheet (from10.6% to 8.8%), pipes (from 5.4% to 3.4%) and fittings (from 8.6% to 2.2%) decreased.
The main importers in September 2010 are pipe industry enterprises (37.2%of the volume of imports), metal trade companies (14.7%) and engineering enterprises (11.4%).
